Wine

One of the most prominent domaines for natural production in the Maconnais district, ‘Domaine de la Crouze’.
A small domaine ran by a married couple, it is known among wine aficionados for its extremely strict wine-making standards.

In order to fully express the flavors of the terroir, Domaine de la Crouze employs herbicide-free biologic cultivation, protects the natural environment surrounding its fields and enforces agricultural methods free of chemical substances in raising grapes that fully harness the power of nature.

By carefully selecting and hand picking fully-ripe grapes, this domaine is able to create wine with a strong aroma profile.
Much like raising a child, these carefully and lovingly cultivated grapes are thoroughly fermented over time and slowly brought to maturity.

The soft, pure nuance of the grapes can be felt at the forefront while the delicate balance of refreshing acidity with solid minerality and rich volume with concentrated flavor can be detected throughout.

Even 10 days after being opened this wine shows no signs of decay and, increasing in complexity, gives off hints of yellow peaches and passion fruit. This wine feels truly alive.
